Nursing Home Worship
Giving back to a deserving community.
Serving others is an act Jesus taught us to do through many examples and is also greatly rewarding. What a blessing it is to give back to such a deserving population as those in a nursing home. Many of whom are unable to make it into a church and are so grateful to come worship every week. This event is lead up by one of the members in our Sunday school class who graciously has allowed us to join in the worship and spread the message of love with these wonderful people. We, and friends, are blessed to offer this to a wonderful and grateful community. This is a private event.
Traditional Christmas Sing-a-long
Traditional Christmas Sing-a-long.
Our traditional Christmas sing-a-long was such a blessing in so many ways. We were able to share our love for the Christmas songs we grew up with and still love to this day. It warmed our hearts that the congregation joined in to sing the songs they loved. During the preparation process, we were blessed to have several church members join us on the platform to perform songs with us or on their own. It’s always fascinating to hear instruments that are not typically played and one of the members we had the privilege of hearing played an accordion which was a wonderful treat.
We were so grateful for the help we received along the way and the day of. Many thanks to our elders who step up to the plate without hesitation.
Most importantly, we were able to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who was the sole focus of the event. Hopefully we will be able to do this again!
Women’s Ministry Event
Helping victims of sex trafficking.
What a blessing it was to share moving and healing songs for an event highlighting an organization helping victims of sex trafficking. It was an emotionally etc-opening experience that I am glad we were able to be a part of. You could feel the healing hand of Jesus.
